Organized by North America Chinese Dermatologist Association, Graduate Dermatology Education Commission of Chinese Medial Doctor Association and Chinese Dermatologist Association, 10 dermatology residents among them, 5 from North America and 5 from mainland China attend a special 3-day exchange program at the Medical University of South Carolina. In addition to social events, sessions of exchange discussion, the program included 2 days of world-class instruction in dermatopathology and Clinical pathology correlation led by Dr. Elston in beautiful Charleston, South Carolina. Following the activities in Charleston, SC, all 10 residents attended 2017 American Academy of Dermatology Meeting in Orlando, Florida and presented selected topics to North American Chinese Dermatology Forum organized by North American Chinese Dermatology Association. The goal of this exchange to promote dialogue and understanding among young dermatologists from China and north america was reached successfully.
